Tackling the issues of footy hooliganism, performance enhancing drugs (something is being injected) and zombie infestations in the same film may seem a daunting task to some.
Directors Thierry Poiraud and Benjamin Rocher appear to have dribbled past any obstacles to do just that with this two part film. All the while maintaining the delicate balance of human storytelling and gratuitous violence that are required to bring we, the viewers, into their vision.
Based on this trailer alone, of which the only three words I understood were “Go! Go! Go!” due it being in French with no sub-titles, I am confident that this will be “The” french zombie soccer movie of the year!
